Her Story

About Latisha

Latisha Perkins is the founder of May Bridge Development in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She has spent eight years in the construction field, founding her company five years ago after earlier experience as a licensed real estate agent and property manager. Perkins transitioned into construction after overseeing renovations and flipping houses, later working on a $12 million mixed-use development project. Her company focuses on government and federal contracts, including work for the National Park Service, Department of Defense, Veterans Administration, and a recent USDA contract valued at approximately $2.2 million annually. She secured a $300,000 can-do financing grant and holds a GC license after passing the exam multiple times. Perkins leads a team of four, with plans to expand, and emphasizes strategic thinking and systems for success. She attributes her achievements to consistency and a drive rooted in avoiding the poverty she experienced as a child, while valuing alignment and intentionality in her work.
