Latonya Beard is a dynamic professional and spiritual leader whose career spans technology, counseling, and ministry. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis and a Master’s in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University, she has applied her technical expertise in roles such as Eligibility Counselor for the State of Tennessee and Remote IT Support Specialist. Latonya’s dedication to excellence is evident through her leadership in team management, training, and process improvement, earning her multiple awards and recognitions throughout her career.

Beyond her technical career, Latonya is widely known as “Church Lady Cares,” a licensed evangelist, psalmist, spiritual advisor, motivational speaker, and published author. She is deeply committed to helping Christian women and communities grow spiritually and emotionally, leading revivals, workshops, women’s conferences, and online courses. She also spearheads the Dunamis Conference in Memphis and coordinates regular outreach programs, including feeding the homeless and seasonal community support initiatives.

Latonya’s life and work are guided by faith, service, and compassion. A lifelong Memphis resident, she actively contributes to her local church, Moore’s Memorial Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of her parents, Pastor Angelo and Lady Glendora Beard. As the middle child of three sisters who form the gospel group The Beard Sisters, she blends her passion for ministry, mentorship, and community impact with a commitment to living a purpose-driven life, helping others unlock their potential both personally and professionally.

I attribute my success to my lifelong desire to help others, using my voice as a motivational speaker and giving back to the Memphis community by supporting the homeless and uplifting people citywide.

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are staying disciplined and making time for my health, like regularly going to the gym.
