What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of discipline, authenticity, and relationship-building. My military background taught me consistency, resilience, and how to show up even on the hard days. It also exposed me to people from all walks of life, which helped me develop the ability to connect with others genuinely and build meaningful relationships.
I’ve learned that success is rarely achieved alone—it’s built through trust, service, and the willingness to keep learning and growing. I believe staying grounded, staying teachable, and treating people with kindness has played a major role in both my personal and professional journey.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was to “run your own race.” It’s so easy to get distracted by what everyone else is doing, especially in today’s world where comparison is constant. At one point, I realized I was spending too much time watching other people’s journeys instead of focusing on my own growth and purpose.
That advice reminded me that success looks different for everyone. I learned to focus on consistency, discipline, and doing the small things well—even when nobody is watching. Small actions create momentum, and momentum creates results. Staying focused on your own lane allows you to grow with confidence instead of pressure.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to remain open, flexible, and coachable. Never stop learning. Every experience, conversation, and challenge teaches you something valuable, even if you don’t realize it in the moment.
I believe knowledge works like a personal toolbox—you may not need every lesson immediately, but one day you’ll be grateful you stored it away. Be confident enough to grow, humble enough to learn, and authentic enough to stay true to who you are. Your uniqueness is your advantage, not something you need to hide.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in real estate right now is building trust and genuine connection in a fast-paced, highly transactional world. Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions people will ever make, so clients want to feel heard, understood, and supported—not pressured.
I believe the greatest opportunity in this industry is shifting the focus back to relationships and service. People remember how you made them feel long after the transaction is over. For me, success is not just about selling homes—it’s about creating a positive experience, educating buyers, and building lasting relationships rooted in trust and authenticity.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most in both my professional and personal life are integrity, kindness, and authenticity. I believe kindness is one of the most powerful things we can offer others because you never truly know what someone is facing behind the scenes. It costs nothing to be kind, but it can mean everything to another person.
I also value being authentic over being perfect. I believe people connect most with honesty, genuine character, and consistency. Whether in business or everyday life, I strive to lead with empathy, stay true to who I am, and treat people with respect. To me, excellence isn’t about pretending to have it all together—it’s about showing up with integrity, being willing to grow, and always remaining grounded in who you are.
