Her Interview
Ten minutes with LaToya
01What do you attribute your success to?
I stay focused on what my body tells me, whatever my gut feeling is. A boss once said if they had all the skills that I had, they would be a millionaire by now.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I don't get career advice really. I stay focused on my gut feeling.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay focused on what you're doing. Don't let nobody deter them from what they're doing. If it can help the world, keep doing it. Find your purpose and stick with it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Gatekeeping, people thinking that they know everything and don't. People not having faith in the things that they are doing. Allowing somebody else to stop you from doing what you're doing.
