Ten minutes with LaTrisha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to taking a non-traditional path and being open to where life and opportunity led me. I started my family first and spent the first 15 to 18 years of my marriage as a stay-at-home mom before returning to the workforce in hospitals, where I found that my profession chose me. Having great mentors has been a key part of my journey because they saw potential and possibilities in me that I could not yet see for myself and propelled me forward. Within 10 years, I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and I am now pursuing my Doctor of Health Administration (DHA). My journey has taught me that success does not have to follow a traditional timeline; with determination, mentorship, and a willingness to grow, it is never too late to pursue your goals.
