About Laura
She is an early childhood education, disability advocacy, and special education professional with experience in relationship building, early childhood coordination, education advocacy, and statewide disability and children’s policy work. She serves as an Early Childhood Coordinator and Advocate with USD #252 Southern Lyon County and is also involved with the Kansas Council on Disabilities and the Kansas Early Childhood Panel. Her background is supported by a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Emporia State University.
