Her Interview

Ten minutes with Laura

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to confidence and resilience. Everything that's happened in my life, the fact that I'm an only child, has impacted me. Also, believing that if God allowed me to be here, He has a purpose for me. Taking the decision to move forward in my career despite fear was life-changing and built my confidence.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be really open-minded. In the human resources field, you will face a lot of people from different countries, and when you face that, you can't be close-minded, because the culture is really diverse. Learn more about the countries, about the cultures and everything. Even in the same language, you can get offended or get another completely different thing, so with a completely different culture it is even more important.
