Laura Hill

Laura Hill has spent over three decades in information technology, having literally grown up with the field as it developed. After beginning her professional journey as a physical education and health teacher, she transitioned into the Army Signal Corps alongside her husband as one of the first married couples in that unit. She went on to serve as the first female CIO for the Forest Service before moving into academia, where she currently works while preparing to transition to another university. Hill is a member of AFCA and serves as a foundation board member appointee at Idaho State University. She is also actively involved in mentoring and philanthropic efforts, including work with the Red Cross and the VA Combat Veterans Board.
