About Laura
She is an accomplished academic leader, clinical educator, and mental health professional with nearly two decades of experience at the University at Buffalo. She currently serves as Assistant Dean of Global Partnerships and as Clinical Associate Professor, where she teaches, mentors students, and leads international academic partnerships and global engagement initiatives. Her earlier career includes serving as Director of the Family Assistance Center for the City of Tonawanda Board of Education, where she managed a district-wide school-based mental health center, developed and implemented education and awareness programs related to children's mental health, and supported students and families for nearly seven years. Her career reflects a deep commitment to education, global collaboration, and advancing mental health services for children and communities.
