About Laura

Laura (Ann) Marsala is the Founder and CEO of Radiant & Rare Society, a women’s community-building enterprise launched in October 2025 to create meaningful, authentic connections among women through curated experiences, personal empowerment, and professional growth. In this role, she leads the organization’s strategic direction, manages team operations, and curates intimate gatherings and events designed to foster genuine in-person connection. Guided by the ELITE values of excellence, leadership, integrity, tenacity, and expansion, Radiant & Rare Society reflects Laura’s vision of moving beyond transactional networking to create an elevated community where women can build lasting relationships, celebrate their accomplishments, and support one another’s growth.

Before founding Radiant & Rare Society, Laura built a successful career spanning more than a decade in insurance, finance, sales, coaching, and professional speaking. She owned an agency in her twenties, coached sales teams, delivered keynote presentations, and contributed to an agency achieving Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) status twice, placing it among the top 1% of financial professionals globally. A two-time Sales Hall of Fame inductee, Laura also received Best of Best 2024 recognition for her achievements in sales performance and coaching excellence. Her professional journey was preceded by service in the United States Marine Corps from 2009 to 2013, where she developed the discipline, resilience, and leadership skills that have continued to define her career.

Laura’s approach to success is rooted in resilience, an innate zest for life, and a strong sense of purpose. Homeschooled until her junior year of high school, she completed a formal justice program during her final years of secondary education and pursued a nontraditional path without attending college. Beyond her professional endeavors, she remains deeply committed to service and youth development through leading a children’s book club, volunteering at shelters, supporting youth programs, and previously serving as a drill instructor for the Stars of David youth initiative. As an advocate for women in entrepreneurship, Laura encourages young women to define success on their own terms, create their own rules, and refuse to allow external limitations to determine their potential. Through Radiant & Rare Society, she continues to build a movement centered on connection, empowerment, excellence, and the belief that extraordinary women thrive when they have a community that truly reflects their values and ambitions.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Laura

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to an innate zest for life and a resilience that continues to motivate me to keep moving forward, even in the face of challenges. I have always possessed an inner spark that inspires me to get up, try again, and continue pursuing my goals with determination. I recognize this resilience as a gift, and I am deeply grateful to God for the strength, perseverance, and sense of purpose that have guided me throughout my journey.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received comes from Jim Rohn: “If you want to get better at business, get better at yourself.” That advice had a profound impact on me because it encouraged me to focus on personal growth and doing the inner work necessary to become a stronger, more effective leader. I have learned that as I improve my mindset, skills, discipline, and self-awareness, those improvements naturally translate into better decision-making, stronger leadership, and greater success in business.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to make your own rules. The status quo, conventional expectations, and limitations that may exist for others do not have to define your path. Just because someone else encounters walls or ceilings does not mean you have to accept them as your own reality. I encourage women to challenge assumptions, trust their vision, and create a career and life on their own terms.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest opportunities in my field is the growing desire for in-person experiences and genuine, meaningful connection. Following the isolation of COVID-19, people are increasingly seeking authentic relationships and opportunities to connect face-to-face. The challenge is standing out in an increasingly crowded marketplace and ensuring that what I offer is truly meaningful. My goal is to be a beacon of light and create experiences that rise above the noise rather than contribute to it.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my professional and personal life are represented by the acronym ELITE: Excellence, Leadership, Integrity, Tenacity, and Expansion. These principles shape how I lead, make decisions, conduct business, and raise my family. My Marine Corps background strongly influenced my commitment to discipline, accountability, leadership, and perseverance, and I strive to carry those values into every area of my life. For me, being ELITE is not simply a professional standard; it is a way of life centered on continuous growth, high standards, integrity, and the determination to keep moving forward.
