Bringing 14 years of experience in the automotive industry, she launched her career at Red Bumper, where she quickly moved from leading webinars to becoming a national trainer at the helm of her own team within just two years. She went on to build a diverse background across the industry, holding roles in performance management, digital retail, and CRM consulting with organizations such as VinSolutions, Cox Automotive, Tekion, and Shift Digital, gaining deep expertise in digital marketing, customer relationship management, and dealership operations along the way.
A graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Applied Arts and a minor in Marketing, Laura has built her career around a strong foundation in digital strategy. She holds Google certifications and has developed specialized expertise in digital advertising, website analytics, social media strategy, Google Business Profile management, SEO, and emerging AI positioning techniques. Earlier in her career while working with Kia, she led a group of dealerships in the Dallas and Arlington area to President's Club status, an achievement that also earned her the Triple Crown distinction.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Laura values continuous growth, crediting her success to an unwavering drive to keep improving. She carries with her a piece of advice that has shaped her approach to problem-solving: to always think at a higher level and consider the broader ripple effects of every decision. A dedicated outdoorswoman, she spends much of her free time with her son fishing and kayaking along the Texas coast and the Brazos River near her home in Waco, and she supports her community through volunteer efforts with animal shelters and General Motors' Race to the Towers 5K.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Laura
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my continuous drive to keep improving and growing. I've always had a constant urge to push myself further and never settle.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A general manager once gave me both a compliment and advice at the same time. He told me that what makes me stand out is that I think on a higher level, almost like a CEO — I don't just look at a problem and fix it, I think through the ripple effects of that fix. He encouraged me to keep that mindset: to always think bigger, consider how each decision connects to the larger picture, and ask how far the impact of a single change might reach.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I'm very outdoorsy, and spending time outside is important to me both personally and as a way to recharge. My son and I love fishing together, and we often head down to the coast — places like Lake Matagorda or Galveston. We also enjoy kayaking, and since I live in Waco now, we regularly kayak the Brazos River. Those outdoor experiences with my family are what matter most to me outside of work.
