Laura Canez Olvera

I'm currently serving as CEO and President, a role I started just one month ago in the medical devices industry. Before transitioning to medical devices, I spent 10 years in building materials where I held various leadership positions across strategy and M&A, operations, global supply chain, and P&L responsibility. My main areas of expertise are business turnaround, global operations, M&A, operational efficiencies, driving sales, and commercial excellence. In my current role, I oversee operations and the manufacturing service part, as well as sales and commercial strategy. I travel between our operations in Brazil and the U.S., focusing on running the business and identifying opportunities for efficiency, growth in sales, and operational efficiency. I consider my most notable professional achievement to be the business turnaround of one of the companies I've worked with.
