Laura Panameno

Laura Panameno is the dedicated Manager of Danza Academy of Social Dance, where she brings her lifelong passion for dance and teaching to life. Based in Exton, Pennsylvania, Laura has been leading the academy since January 2023, shaping it into a vibrant community hub for dancers of all levels. With over a decade of experience in various dance styles and instruction, Laura has held roles at respected institutions like Fred Astaire Fort Lauderdale, BlackBox Studio, and Cali Salsa. Her teaching career began early, volunteering as a Dance Teacher Assistant at the Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet and later serving as Dance Director at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School.
Laura holds an Associate of Arts degree in Drama and Dance Teacher Education from Broward College, where she was a proud member of the Psi Beta Honor Society. Now pursuing her bachelor’s degree, she continues to balance her academic goals with her professional and personal life. Outside the studio, Laura enjoys unwinding with her dog, exploring local dog parks, and embracing quiet moments as a self-proclaimed couch potato. Her journey reflects a perfect fusion of passion and purpose, as she continues to inspire through both movement and mentorship.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my parents and the inspiration I’ve always drawn from my little brother.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that if you do what you love, it will always show—and that genuine passion speaks louder than anything else.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is: don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself—your voice, your boundaries, and your talent all deserve to be respected.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is gaining enough experience to grow while also learning how to balance the personal and professional boundaries with clients.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are giving 100%—never taking shortcuts—and always prioritizing family.
