What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and mentorship of Michael Cooper, who taught me essential skills such as scheduling and payroll processing.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most valuable advice I have received is to lead with understanding, compassion, and empathy. Avoid leading with an iron fist but rather maintain a firm stance on what is acceptable and what will not be tolerated. Additionally, encourage while correcting mistakes.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to give 100% effort every single time. Consistency, dedication, and showing up fully are key to building credibility and achieving success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The most significant challenges I face in my field are the diverse personalities I encounter daily. Some individuals are incredibly difficult and demand a unique blend of finesse and understanding. However, this very diversity also presents the greatest opportunity—meeting people from all over the country and even those who have immigrated here.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The value most important to me in both my work and personal life is autism awareness. I strive to promote understanding, inclusivity, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum in everything I do.
