About Laura

Laura Rosenblum serves as Director of Influencer Partnerships at SEED Health, a role she has held since starting at the company four and a half years ago in 2018. Based in Los Angeles, California, she focuses on growth influencer marketing to drive new customer acquisition through strategic partnerships and campaigns. Rosenblum earned her degree in communications from San Francisco State University, which provided a strong foundation for her work in PR, social media, and marketing. Prior to SEED Health, she gained experience at a startup scooter company called Bird, working on comms, PR, social media, and early celebrity partnerships, followed by time on the agency side. She is an active member of Women in Influencer Marketing (WIIM) and volunteers with Safe Place for Youth in Venice. Rosenblum values growth, creativity, and impact, and advises trusting one's gut in the ever-evolving field of influencer marketing while building strong relationships through networking.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Laura

01What do you attribute your success to?

Building a life that I have dreamt of, with flexibility to work from home and live on the beach. My family has always motivated me. The values of growth, creativity, and impact have also motivated me.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Trust your gut, especially in influencer marketing where campaigns can be expensive and involve guessing and testing.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Meet as many people as you possibly can through outreach, email, LinkedIn messages, and conversations because it is a relationship-building industry. Network and get yourself out there.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Influencer marketing is always changing with new features and new influencers, so you have to always be evolving and changing, keeping up with the latest and greatest instead of sticking to old programs.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Growth, always learning and improving, never being stagnant. Impact, especially in health and wellness. Staying creative and brainstorming new ideas.
