With a degree in Fashion Merchandising from San Francisco State University, Laura has spent over 20 years shaping customer experiences at top brands like Nordstrom, GShock Casio, and Cuyana. She has also held leadership roles in merchandising and client management, where she leveraged data-driven insights to exceed sales goals, streamline store operations, and train high-performing teams. Her work is marked by a keen eye for style, attention to detail, and a passion for helping customers feel confident in their purchases.
Outside of her primary role, Laura is an Independent Consultant for Rodan + Fields, where she applies her entrepreneurial spirit to the beauty and skincare industry. Known for her dedication, warmth, and professionalism, she continues to thrive in dynamic retail environments while remaining deeply committed to customer satisfaction and team success.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
We all are new at one point in the game. Also retail is a small world. Don’t make enemies because you will cross them in another life.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be humble. Learn everything you can from people with more experience than you. Treat everyone with the same level of respect.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are growth, balance, and meaningful connection. I prioritize continuous self-improvement—whether through professional development or personal routines like working out five times a week, skiing, skating, or boxing. I also value creativity, authentic conversations, and the grounding joy of caring for my pets, including my cat and backyard chickens.
