Laura Seigel

Laura Seigel is an accomplished trauma therapist, prevention social worker, and mental health professional with over 16 years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, and social services. She currently serves as a Trauma Therapist at We Level Up, a residential mental health facility in Florida, after previously serving as a Primary Therapist there and at Beacon Recovery Center and Banyan Treatment Centers, where she provided primary therapy for clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. She is also the founder of ThePreventionSocialWorker.org, a platform dedicated to connecting people who have the means to prevent social problems with organizations working in the trenches to address issues such as child abuse and neglect, and she has worked as a Case Manager and Social Worker through General Social Work Services LLC. She holds a Master of Social Work from Florida International University, where she focused on macro-level social work and the prevention of social problems.
