In 2025, Laura adds a new chapter to her multifaceted career by publishing her first book, "A Warrior Is Born" —a deeply personal and poetic exploration of resilience and identity in the immigrant experience. The book amplifies the voices of those who often go unheard, drawing from Laura’s own lived experiences as a Latina woman navigating systemic barriers while remaining rooted in her cultural and spiritual strength. As a bridge-builder and advocate, Laura continues to inspire through her storytelling, equity work, collaborations with local government and her unwavering commitment to community healing.
