Lauren Collins

She is a dedicated emergency management and public safety leader with over a decade of experience in emergency response coordination, finance and administration, and interagency collaboration, currently serving as Director at the Maryland - National Capital Region Emergency Response System, where she provides strategic leadership for emergency response integration across fire, rescue, law enforcement, emergency medical services, public health, and healthcare systems. She has served in progressively senior roles at the organization, including Deputy Director of Finance & Administration, Finance & Logistics Program Manager, and Planner. Her career includes serving as Emergency Management Specialist at a.i. solutions and as Exercise, Training and Community Outreach Coordinator for the City of Annapolis Office of Emergency Management. She holds a degree in Integrated Homeland Security Management from Towson University and a Bachelor's in Criminology and Investigations with a minor in Spanish from West Virginia University. She is recognized as a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven leader who is deeply committed to ensuring coordinated, effective emergency response and building resilient communities.
