Her Interview
Ten minutes with Lauren
01What do you attribute your success to?
My team and coworkers, the company that has my back, my bosses who are understanding and trust me, and my husband who is supportive with the kids when I work late or early.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You mess up, own it. And don't do it again. My boss always says it's not if you mess up, it's when, but then don't do it again.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Have fun with it. It's a very creative environment with design, colors, artwork. Manage the stress and have life-work balance. Every day is different so if you like that, you'll thrive.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Timelines are the biggest challenge, aligning them with multiple teams and materials. Lead times on things are another big hurdle.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, integrity, loyalty, compassion and empathy.
