About Lauren
Lauren Faust has spent 21 years in healthcare, beginning her journey after Hurricane Katrina disrupted her initial plans for nursing school at LSU. She started as a patient registration clerk and ER tech while pursuing an associate's degree in nursing, which she completed in 2008, followed by a bachelor's in nursing in 2014. After working as an ER nurse, she transitioned into leadership roles, including nursing director positions in oncology, bariatric surgery, and med-surg units, before moving into a consulting-style role focused on patient experience and leadership development in late 2017. Today, she leads strategy for patient experience and leadership development across the Ochsner Health system in New Orleans. She earned her MBA in 2018 and maintains active membership in the Louisiana chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, holding certifications as RN, MBA, and CPXP.
