What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a relentless work ethic, a genuine commitment to building strong client relationships, and a willingness to continuously learn and master new areas of logistics, including drayage, truckload, and pricing. Equally important has been my perseverance in navigating and overcoming career setbacks, which has strengthened my resilience and growth in the field.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to always be genuine and principled in your work. Believe in yourself, work hard to stand out, and never feel the need to dim your light for others. Be authentic, cultivate real relationships, and have confidence in yourself and the services you offer — that confidence naturally attracts clients and opens doors to opportunity.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is that it remains male-dominated, which can make it difficult for women to have their voices heard and their contributions fully recognized. At the same time, there are significant opportunities: supply chain and logistics are critical to business operations, and professionals who focus on building strong relationships and solving client challenges can not only create visibility but also drive growth and expand accounts.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are integrity, authenticity, and a commitment to building meaningful relationships. I prioritize hard work, perseverance, and continuous learning, while also fostering respect, kindness, and support for others. Balancing these values allows me to serve clients effectively, grow professionally, and maintain a fulfilling personal life.
