Lauren Gillogly
Lauren Gillogly is a dedicated Clinical Research Assistant at Avacare Clinical Research Network, where she manages and contributes to clinical research projects with a focus on advancing healthcare outcomes. She brings expertise in Clinical Research Management Systems and holds the CCRP designation, complemented by an Advanced Clinical Trial Assistant Certification (ACTAC). Lauren’s work supports the successful execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards and improving patient care through research innovation.
Currently, Lauren is pursuing a Master of Public Health at Slippery Rock University, concentrating in Public Health Education and Promotion, building on her Bachelor’s degree in Health Services from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her academic achievements reflect a commitment to lifelong learning and public health advocacy, and she has been recognized for her leadership and dedication through her participation in the SALUTE National Veterans Honor Society and consistent placement on the Dean’s List.
Beyond her research and academic endeavors, Lauren serves in the Army National Guard, recently earning the rank of sergeant and leading a team specializing in heavy artillery. Her military experience has cultivated adaptability, teamwork, and resilience, qualities she carries into her professional and educational pursuits. Lauren combines her clinical research expertise, public health knowledge, and leadership experience to drive meaningful improvements in healthcare outcomes and community wellness.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to keep going and never stop learning, because no one ever knows everything. Embracing continuous growth and staying curious has helped me navigate challenges and seize new opportunities throughout my career.

The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, dedication, and balance. I strive to approach my work with honesty and commitment while making time to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, like hiking with my dog, which helps me stay grounded and energized.
