About Lauren
Lauren Harris serves as senior counsel at Connifield in Houston, Texas. She represents her client as the primary party in a multi-district litigation suit originating from Travis County. Harris graduated from LSU with her undergraduate degree in December 2009 and completed law school from August 2016 to December 2018. She attributes her professional success entirely to her faith in God and the unwavering support of her parents, who modeled hard work throughout her life. Harris remains actively involved with her home church, St. Clair in Chatham, Louisiana, by continuing to pay tithes, and she is a member of a church in Houston. She advises young women entering the legal field to recognize that freedom lies on the opposite side of fear and to pursue their God-given vision with belief and determination.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Lauren
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success all to God and my faith. None of this would be possible without Him, and it's truly His doing. My parents were also very supportive and hard workers who always had my back.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
On the opposite side of fear is freedom. If you let fear stop you, you'll never get the freedom of knowing what you can do. I'm a woman of faith as well, I'm a Christian, so believe in God, believe in the vision that's been given to you and just go for it.
