What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of life experiences and the skills I’ve developed along the way. I’ve learned to use downtime as an opportunity for research, personal growth, and reflection—keeping myself sharp and deeply informed in my areas of interest. As a mother of four, I’ve gained resilience, mastered multitasking, and learned how to manage multiple responsibilities with focus and grace. Building a small bread business offered not just a creative outlet but also invaluable lessons in leadership and perseverance, even when the path forward wasn’t clear. Most recently, becoming a mother to my daughter reignited a spark within me—a light that burst into a flame of creativity, drive and strength I hadn’t realized I still possessed. These experiences have solidified the confidence my superiors have in me while reinforcing my own belief that I have what it takes to succeed beyond what I believed possible.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most impactful career advice I’ve received has come from two mentors who shaped my perspective in different but equally powerful ways. Successful real estate investor Michael Ketchen told me after my first strong month, “You can never be too aggressive—don’t stop.” His words reinforced the importance of momentum and unwavering drive.
Equally influential was the example set by my mentor and company president, Danielle Harasek, who demonstrated her confidence in me by encouraging me to fully step into my potential—quite literally telling me to put my foot on the gas and not let up. Her trust underscored the value of believing in yourself, taking ownership of your work, and rising decisively to every opportunity placed before you.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to intentionally surround themselves with strong, vetted professional networks, actively pursue in-person connections, and seek out mentorship opportunities that foster real growth. Be willing to take calculated risks, trust the guidance of those who have paved the way, and fully utilize the support systems available to help your business thrive. Above all, never shrink yourself or minimize the value and impact you bring to the table.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is managing growth, but I see this as an exciting opportunity. The possibilities are endless, and I’m energized by the chance to explore new avenues, expand my impact, and continue building on success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value in both my work and personal life is family. Keeping my family at the center of everything I do guides my decisions, priorities, and the way I approach both my career and personal relationships. It fuels my relentless drive and keeps me focused and intentional.
