Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lauren

01What do you attribute your success to?

My inherent talent interpreting dreams. I knew I had a gift since I was young and followed my goal with no help from anyone. I did it all on my own.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Follow your goal. No one helped me. I did it all on my own.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Have faith in herself. Do not stop. If she's rejected, just brush it off and just keep going.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I experienced immediate success. The only stumbling block was an editor who pulled my column and cost me syndication.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Helping people. I saved someone's life with dreams by advising them to see a cardiologist based on their dream interpretation.
