About Lauren
My role has been close to 9 years in the healthcare industry as VP of Market Operations at Optum. My family background with both parents in healthcare sales sparked my interest. I started pre-med but switched to business, attempted pharmaceutical sales during the recession, began at WellCare in physician recruiting, advanced through Simply Healthcare and Humana managing physician groups, then moved to provider side at JSA which was acquired by Optum where I built a team of consultants managing Florida performance for primary care physicians.
