Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the hope I find in Jesus and the opportunity to help others take their next steps in faith. I’m inspired by seeing the church actively serve the community and being part of that legacy in Indianapolis.

I’m also passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders—encouraging young men stepping into ministry and empowering young women to use the gifts God has given them. Helping others grow in faith and confidence is deeply rewarding and motivates me every day.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to lead with “yes.” When an opportunity arises, don’t sell yourself short or doubt your ability to succeed. If a door opens, it’s likely for a reason—take the chance, give it your best, and be willing to learn from failures along the way. Embrace the experience, try again when needed, and trust that growth comes through action and persistence.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I’d say one of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is bridging the gap for young adults coming straight out of college. They’re eager to step into the workplace, but they need hands-on experience to feel confident and prepared. We have one year with them to provide leadership training, discipleship, and pastoral equipping, and it’s essential to make the most of that time so they’re ready for what comes next. It’s a rewarding and exciting challenge, and getting to guide them through that growth is truly meaningful.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity and authenticity—being the same person at work as I am at home. I strive to lead by example, modeling the values and behaviors I hope to instill in the residents I work with. I also believe in the importance of fun—if you’re not enjoying what you do, you’re likely missing a key part of growth and connection.
