Her early career included client-facing account roles at an Anheuser-Busch distributor sign shop, followed by account management and community-focused events work. Lauren later transitioned into real estate, honing her ability to listen, understand client needs, and deliver meaningful solutions—skills that proved invaluable when she pivoted into technology sales in 2018. Over the years, she has consistently demonstrated an ability to align technical solutions with human-centered outcomes, earning recognition within her organizations for excellence in execution and relationship-building.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that “it’s not that hard to be nice.” Treating others with kindness, respect, and understanding goes a long way in building strong professional relationships, fostering collaboration, and creating a positive work environment. It’s a simple principle, but one that has had a lasting impact on how I approach both my career and personal interactions.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be true to yourself; listen closely (this is a strength); build cross-team relationships and a network; ask for help when needed; stay true to your brand and lean in with confidence.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is navigating the rapid advancement of AI, which is reshaping how work is done and the skills required to stay competitive. At the same time, there is always an opportunity to grow, innovate, and make an impact—whether by adopting new technologies, improving processes, or finding creative solutions that drive success and add value.

Integrity and respect are the cornerstones of both my professional and personal life.
