Her Story
About Lauren
Her professional memberships include past involvement with the American Society of Microbiology and current membership in the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Panny attributes her success to being willing to take risks and fail, learning more from failures than successes, and staying open to opportunities without pigeonholing herself into one category. The best career advice she received was to recognize that everyone is nervous and to approach situations with curiosity to learn and grow, which helped her overcome social anxiety during her PhD.
