Ten minutes with Lauren
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to learning how to stay connected to myself, especially in moments that feel uncomfortable or uncertain.
For a long time, I operated from pressure, overthinking, and feeling like I needed to prove myself. What really changed things for me wasn’t just working harder, it was doing the internal work. Learning how to understand my patterns, regulate my nervous system, and build self-trust.
Once I stopped constantly trying to fix myself and started actually listening to myself, everything shifted. My decisions became more aligned, my work felt more intentional, and my growth became sustainable instead of forced. That internal foundation is what I attribute my success to. It’s allowed me to show up more clearly, more confidently, and more authentically in everything I do.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to redefine what success means to them early on.
It’s easy to get caught up in external markers - titles, recognition, achievement, but if those things aren’t rooted in alignment, they can quickly lead to burnout or disconnection.
The most effective leaders and professionals I’ve seen are the ones who have a strong internal foundation. They understand themselves, they regulate themselves, and they make decisions from a place of clarity rather than fear or pressure. So yes, be ambitious. Go after opportunities. Speak up. Take up space. But also learn how to pause, reflect, and check in with yourself. Learn what drives you, what drains you, and what actually feels true for you. Because when your external success is built on internal alignment, it not only feels better—it lasts longer and creates a much deeper impact.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Honestly, one of the biggest challenges is that a lot of people are trying to “optimize” themselves without actually understanding themselves.
There’s this constant pressure to improve, fix, and be better-and it keeps people stuck in cycles of overthinking and self-doubt.
But the opportunity is that people are starting to wake up to that. They’re realizing that pushing harder isn’t always the answer, and they’re becoming more open to doing the deeper work—understanding their patterns, their emotions, and how their nervous system plays a role in everything.
That shift creates space for more honest, sustainable growth. And that’s where I think the most meaningful change is happening right now.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
A lot of my values were shaped by what I didn’t have earlier in my life.
I spent a long time operating from pressure, perfectionism, and external validation—and it disconnected me from myself. So now, the values I live by are authenticity, self-trust, and inner safety.
I care deeply about creating environments, whether in coaching, teams, or relationships, where people feel like they can actually exhale and be themselves. Because from that place, everything else - confidence, clarity, growth, happens so much more naturally.
