Lauren Washington

I am a media and broadcast production professional with a strong background in radio and television news production, currently serving as Associate Producer at The Kim Komando Show, a role I have held since November 2025, where I research and pitch stories, tech tips, and guest ideas for a nationally syndicated radio show airing on over five hundred stations, book and vet callers and guests, write host scripts and organize caller lineups, create titles and descriptions for three daily podcasts, and support overall production workflow on show days.

Prior to this role, I served as News Producer at Arizona's Family for over three years, where I selected, wrote, and researched news stories using iNews and ENPS, wrote scripts for anchors and reporters, created maps and graphics, timed segments and live breaking news, booked interviews for TV segments, and selected videos and sound bites. I also served as Producer at WANE 15 for nearly two years, where I wrote stories and web articles, booked interviews, built blocks, maps, and graphics, timed segments and live shots, and edited videos using Edius, BitCentral, and Adobe Premiere. Earlier in my career, I served as Producer Intern at WISH-TV for eight months and as Front Office Receptionist at the Chicago Cubs for over a year.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications with a focus on Video Production from Ball State University.
