About Lauren

I've been working in healthcare for 6 years as a certified nursing assistant in a hospital setting. My role involves assisting nurses and LPNs with procedures and helping them with paperwork. Most people assume CNAs work in nursing homes, but I work in a hospital. Before transitioning to healthcare, I worked in customer service and hospitality. I was introduced to healthcare at a very young age and always had a passion for wanting to help people. However, I've recently changed my career path and am no longer working as a CNA. Currently, I'm working for a small gardening company with my parents while I'm in school. I'm pursuing my interior designer certification, which I expect to complete in a few months. My typical day includes going to the gym in the morning, doing schoolwork, and then working my shift.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say my faith is what I attribute my success to. It's just a compass that I use in my day-to-day life. It's really helped me, and that's one of my major highlights - it's above everything. My faith helps me make sure that I'm doing what's needed and becoming a better version of myself.
