Laurie Simnacher Barron

Laurie Barron serves as Executive Director of a senior living community in Houston, Texas, a role she has held since entering the industry in 2012. She oversees operations for a staff of approximately 85 and about 110 residents, with a focus on building team culture, developing future leaders, and ensuring high-quality resident care. Barron earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 1993. Before senior living, she worked in the oil and gas industry as an HR trainer handling onboarding and orientation programs. She briefly served as a flight attendant for Omni Air in 2020, flying for the Department of Defense. Barron has left the senior living field twice for short periods but returned each time, drawn by the rewarding nature of the work.
