About Laurie
Laurie Mason is a human resources and project management consultant with extensive experience leading Human Capital Management (HCM) implementations and organizational initiatives for industry leaders including ADP, UKG, and Workday. Drawing on a strong foundation in human resources, she has built a career focused on helping organizations navigate complex projects, improve operational efficiency, and successfully manage change. Her professional credentials include SHRM-CP, PHR, and Certified Scrum Master certifications, as well as graduate-level studies in human resources, entrepreneurship, and small business management.
Since 2018, Laurie has demonstrated remarkable resilience while navigating the evolving workforce and multiple organizational transitions. Her experiences inspired her to launch Experienced Workers of America, an initiative dedicated to supporting seasoned professionals as they navigate late-career transitions and identify new opportunities for growth and purpose. In addition to her consulting work, she serves as Director of Programs for the Veteran Project Manager Mentor Alliance, where she develops programs that help veterans successfully transition into civilian project management careers. She has also contributed to the HR profession through her leadership as president of her local SHRM chapter.
Laurie is deeply committed to service, mentorship, and creating opportunities for others to succeed. Throughout her career, she has volunteered on a domestic violence hotline, providing support to individuals in crisis, and served as a CPR instructor at the Glen Burnie detention center, equipping others with life-saving skills. Whether leading complex business initiatives, mentoring professionals, or advocating for experienced workers, Laurie is driven by a passion for empowering people, fostering resilience, and helping individuals build meaningful and successful careers.
