Ten minutes with Lavanya
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always lift by lifting others. My previous manager emphasized this, and it means bringing people along with you as you advance so you rise as a leader and raise them along with you.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be keen to learn new things. Do not shy away from any challenges or box yourself. Spread your wings as much as you can. Have the right attitude to learn because skills can be taught but attitude cannot. Work ethic and interest to learn are key.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Be genuinely honest to your work with sincere work ethic. Be honest with yourself and your work. Be genuinely interested in people. Lift others by lifting them up. Bring people along with you when starting something.
