Lea Grimaldi is a writer, speaker, and integrative therapist with over two decades of experience helping individuals enhance their peace, productivity, and passion through mind-body-spirit practices. She is a certified Reiki Master, yoga instructor, barre and elliptical fitness coach, and meditation teacher, dedicated to teaching simple daily habits that reduce stress and calm the nervous system. In 2019, she published Increase Your Peace from A to Z: Simple Steps to Find Calm Amid Chaos, a practical guide that distills her years of experience into actionable techniques for managing stress and anxiety.

Before transitioning into holistic wellness, Lea built a career in journalism, public relations, and publishing, working with organizations including CNN/Headline News, Miller Freeman Inc., Bride’s Magazine, and Parade Magazine. Her early professional experiences honed her skills in communication, storytelling, and public engagement, which now inform her approach to coaching and teaching. She combines these skills with her extensive training in yoga, meditation, and energy work to help clients break through limiting beliefs and achieve their best selves at any age or stage of life.

Currently, Lea serves as the Office of Integrative Medicine Coordinator at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, where she integrates mind-body approaches into long-term rehabilitation care. She designs and coordinates programs such as Reiki, mindfulness, meditation, massage, and grounding techniques to reduce patient anxiety and support holistic healing. Through her private practice, LPG Transformational Healing, she continues to offer energy work, chakra balancing, EFT, angel card readings, and other tools that promote emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. Recognized by Influential Women as a Connecticut representative for 2026, Lea’s work embodies her philosophy that self-care, curiosity, and kindness are essential components of lasting well-being.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success to a combination of natural inclination and deliberate effort. I’ve always thrived when I have multiple projects and ideas in motion, and I enjoy exploring new opportunities. At the same time, I’ve learned the importance of focus, because having many ideas can sometimes make it challenging to stay centered. I also believe that it’s possible to achieve a great deal, but not everything at once—success often requires prioritization and timing.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to be kind, both to yourself and others, while confidently claiming your place at the table. Focus on cultivating practical tools for both your professional and personal life—mindfulness, resilience, and sustainable habits—rather than relying on quick fixes. These foundations will serve you far beyond any immediate challenge.
