Her Interview

Ten minutes with LeAnn

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my drive, my family’s support, and my desire to continually become a better person. My husband and children have inspired me to lead by example, stay grounded, and make a positive difference in the lives of others. I believe true leadership is measured not only by what we accomplish, but by the people we impact and the hope we leave behind.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is not to be afraid to ask for help. You don’t have to do everything on your own, and collaboration can help you accomplish far more. I also believe there is no such thing as a dumb question—the only mistake is being afraid to ask.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself and maintain a positive mindset. I believe that when you think you can, you will, and even the most difficult challenges are “figureoutable.” Plan ahead, stay determined, and most importantly, start somewhere. You don’t have to have everything figured out—you simply have to take the first step and keep moving forward.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I see many opportunities in my field, but one of my biggest challenges is balancing full-time work, life responsibilities, and pursuing the degrees needed to expand my career opportunities. While I have strong people and leadership skills, I recognize the value of formal education and credentials in opening new doors. I continue to learn by observing others, listening to experienced leaders, and applying their wisdom to my own journey.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Communication, authenticity, and intentionality are among the values I hold most important in both my work and personal life. I believe in being clear, avoiding assumptions, and understanding that how you communicate matters just as much as what you say. I also believe respect is earned through consistent actions, so I strive to be genuine, intentional, and wholehearted in everything I do.
