Leanne Bernard, MSN, RN, is a compassionate healthcare leader with more than two decades of experience dedicated to advancing home health nursing and improving patient outcomes. Since beginning her career in 2003, she has built a reputation for delivering personalized, patient-centered care while fostering supportive environments for both patients and healthcare professionals. Currently serving as a Branch Director, Leanne oversees the daily operations of a home health agency, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that exceptional patient care begins with empowering and mentoring the clinicians who provide it.

Leanne's nursing journey began as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and through a steadfast commitment to lifelong learning, she advanced her education by earning an associate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, and ultimately a Master of Science in Nursing Education. What initially attracted her to home health was the flexibility it provided while raising her family, but she soon discovered a deeper calling in delivering individualized, one-on-one care that allows patients to heal with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Throughout her career, she has become an advocate for home healthcare, emphasizing its critical role in supporting recovery, managing chronic conditions, and preserving patient independence. She is equally passionate about mentoring new nurses and inspiring future healthcare professionals to recognize the value and impact of home health nursing.
