Leeann Holton

Leeann Holton serves as Vision Center Development Coach in the optical industry. With more than 20 years of experience, she began her career after falling into an optical position that combined her interests in style and fashion with hands-on work fixing glasses and helping people see better. Working with Walmart, Holton draws on her background as an optician to support vision centers through training and development. She credits mentors such as her first vision center manager Christina Macedoni for modeling calm, direct leadership with high expectations, and Setu Patel for pushing her into growth opportunities like public speaking. Holton aims to reach the highest levels in the optical field to lead broader teams and contribute to learning systems, guides, and job aids that improve patient care across the organization. She advises women entering the industry to be their authentic selves, believe in themselves, keep challenging themselves, and invest in knowledge through books, podcasts, and industry learning to build confidence and trust with patients.
