Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the incredible influence of my parents. My mother was a pioneering entrepreneur—a successful woman-owned business owner in the 1970s in the small town where I grew up. From her, I inherited a strong work ethic, resilience, and tenacity. My father, a radio talk show personality, taught me the power of communication, curiosity, and connecting with people. Their combined example instilled in me the drive and perspective that continue to guide my personal and professional journey.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to truly listen, take the time to process, and—if needed—wait a day or two before responding. It taught me the value of pausing to fully understand the needs of a client, ensuring that my responses are thoughtful, intentional, and aligned with what’s truly required.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: never give up. Persistence, resilience, and determination are key—challenges will come, but staying committed to your goals and believing in your abilities will carry you through.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is consistently demonstrating to new clients why they should choose our company. Additionally, the industry faces competition from less-informed agents who may try a variety of approaches to gain clients, sometimes at any cost. These challenges also present opportunities—by providing clear value, ethical guidance, and personalized service, we can build trust and long-term relationships that set us apart.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me, both in my work and personal life, are integrity, kindness, and honesty. I strive to be someone who keeps their word, treats others with respect, and approaches every situation with transparency and empathy.
