About Lele
I'm a first-year student at Wellesley College, where I'm planning to major in biology and mathematics. I've been passionate about biology since middle school and high school, where I spent 3-4 years doing research, activities, and competitions in the field. I'm currently the social chair of the biology and biochemistry club at Wellesley, where I work to create a tight-knit community for students majoring or planning to major in these fields. I plan social events, study breaks, and I've also done outreach to alumni and professors at Wellesley, MIT, and throughout the Boston area to organize panel boards and other events. Over the past 2 years, I've been developing my interest in consulting through case study competitions, including recently completing a first-year case competition at Wellesley. My most significant achievement so far was serving as team leader and wet lab manager for the International Genetics Engineering Competition (iGEM), where I led my team to win a Silver Award. I'm currently looking for research opportunities for the upcoming summer. After graduation, I really want to pursue consulting, ideally working as a consultant for a company, but if that's not possible, I plan to attend graduate school to gain deeper knowledge in the field and pursue a more market or field-specific consulting path.
