About Lenore

Lenore Namou is a physician assistant practicing in Chicago, Illinois. She has been in the field for two years, having graduated from Wayne State University after completing her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. Namou began her career in emergency medicine to build a broad foundation and autonomy before moving into urgent care, where she sees and treats her own patients, prescribes medications, and manages a range of issues including sutures, lacerations, cardiac, pulmonary, and musculoskeletal conditions. She is considering a shift to aesthetic and longevity medicine. Prior to her medical career, Namou was a competitive athlete who spent four years on Team USA for Olympic weightlifting. She attributes her professional success and discipline to her athletic background, which was encouraged by her mother through various sports during childhood. Namou values empathy and building trust with patients, viewing medicine as a collaborative effort. She advises young women entering the field not to doubt themselves and to recognize their greater capabilities, and she believes the rigorous demands of the profession are essential for responsibly handling patient lives.
