LeShae Tyson

I began my journey in financial services 30 years ago after majoring in accounting in college. Out of college, I got a job as a portfolio accountant working with mutual fund companies, and as I began to learn about the industry, I moved from that to becoming a financial advisor. What interests me about this business is the ability to be able to help people - there is a satisfaction that comes when you are helping people not just build wealth, but you're helping them build and plan for retirement, send their kids to college, and all of these life milestones that are really important to them. After being a financial advisor, I moved into what is known as field supervision and governance, and I was in that space for 20 years in leadership. More recently, I became a leader on the sales side to lead financial advisors and branches in the field. Currently, I am an Associate Manager in the Southwest Market for Wells Fargo Advisors, where I travel around our market which is Greater Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, as well as other travel for conferences and meetings. I have a great team around me - not only leaders that I lead with, but also a great team of financial advisors who help people. To know that the firm that you work for and people that you work with and lead are a part of that success is very rewarding.
