With approximately 10 years of experience as an executive assistant in media entertainment, Leslie previously held roles at ViacomCBS and Comedy Central in PR, which involved frequent travel. She earned a degree in communication from Pace University. Her career path began in hospitality as an admin in conference services in DC, followed by a brief stint in wedding planning, two years in Paris as an au pair teaching English, and work as a personal assistant for a high-profile family before transitioning to executive assistant positions. Leslie attributes her success to being responsive, flexible, and present for her colleagues. She values maintaining strong professional relationships and approaching work with a positive attitude while prioritizing her family and daughter in her personal life. 01What do you attribute your success to?

Just being there for people and showing up. Being responsive, flexible, and present makes all the difference in my work.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Showing up is half the battle, and knowing you're not stuck anywhere. You can always find something that makes you happy.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Patience. You just gotta be patient. Showing up and responding. People want people who are present and available.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Opportunities include amazing family perks at NBC like rooftop Halloween parties, movie nights, Christmas fairs, and bring your kids to work day with activities.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In personal life, family and daughter come first, ensuring she is taken care of mentally, physically, financially, and emotionally. In career, maintaining good relationships, going into work with a smile, and feeling accomplished without unnecessary stress.
