Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to patience, perseverance, and a deep commitment to following my passions. After a fulfilling 21-year career in the IT industry at Nationwide Insurance, I realized I had a book inside me that was waiting for the right time to be shared. I am most proud of publishing my book, Silent Sufferers, in August, which also has a companion workbook to guide readers on their journey. I am excited to continue this path, with another publication focused on men scheduled for release next year.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to truly understand yourself and your truth, no matter your age. It’s essential to know who you are, what drives you, and what shapes your perspective. When you are grounded in your own values and identity, you can navigate challenges with confidence and authenticity, making a meaningful impact in your career and beyond.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me most in both my work and personal life are faith, compassion, and service to others. My faith grounds me, allowing me to care deeply, love fully, and serve others with empathy and intention.

I am profoundly grateful for the mentors and supporters who have shaped my journey. My son stands out as my rock—a kind and loving soul who has cheered me on every step of the way. Our bond has grown stronger than ever, and I am honored to acknowledge his unwavering support. I am also deeply thankful for my doctor, who guided me through my medical journey and gave me a second chance at life. Their encouragement, alongside my faith, has allowed me to approach each day and every endeavor with purpose, resilience, and gratitude.
