My children are my greatest motivation. As a mom, my daughters are always watching, and I feel it's important to keep going and show them that as women we are limitless.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I tell myself to keep going. As a mom, my daughters are always watching, and as women we are limitless. We owe it to women in general to keep going.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Keep going, because I promise you that the victory ahead is worth the battle behind.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Funding for education and programs is a major challenge. Working in an inner city diverse college, there are still inequalities, and it's challenging getting resources to the people that need it. It's hard to educate people if their basic needs aren't being met first.

Communication, honesty, staying true to yourself, remembering where you came from, being humble, and kindness.
