About Letricia

Letricia Greenwade is a retired educator, ordained pastor, author, and community advocate with more than 36 years of experience dedicated to education, mentorship, and 40 years of experience dedicated to faith-based service. She spent the majority of her professional career with the Bonita Unified School District at Lone Hill Middle School in San Dimas, California, where she taught Language Arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and Skills for Adolescence to 7th graders. Throughout her career, she focused on improving student achievement in reading and writing while creating meaningful connections that supported students’ academic and personal growth. During her tenure in education, Letricia Greenwade served as a Middle School Coordinator for Drug and Violence Prevention, where she developed programs to assist at-risk students and promote positive choices among youth. Her desire to teach led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Indiana State University, and her passion for mentoring and educational advancement led her to earn a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Even after retirement, she continued to support education through substitute teaching for three years and remained committed to helping students succeed as she worked with family members who needed academic support. In addition to her educational career, Letricia Greenwade serves as an Ordained Pastor at Christ Sanctify New Testament Church, where she continues her lifelong mission of serving others through faith and compassion. She has been active in ministry since 1985, was ordained as an evangelist in 1987, and became a pastor in 2005. She is also involved in prison ministry through It’s Almost Midnight and outreach efforts focused on supporting troubled, broken, and wounded women and children. As a contributing author to God’s Passion Unleashed: Bringing Your Best Self to God, Letricia Greenwade shares her message of faith, love, mentorship, and the importance of helping others discover their purpose.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith in the Lord and to the belief that teaching is an act of love. I discovered that my greater purpose was not only to educate others but also to show them care, compassion, and support. I strive to teach with love and create meaningful connections that positively impact those I serve.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received came from the Lord one day while I was surrounded by a hallway full of students on my way to my classroom. "Love these kids!"

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to lead by example with love, compassion, and purpose. To be great leaders in God's service, we must learn to be great servants. I encourage them to embrace the message of God’s Passion Unleashed and understand that their greatest impact comes from genuinely caring for those they serve. Success is built on love, dedication, and a willingness to support others as a true partner and mentor.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

As a servant, I am challenged every day to live a life that honors and pleases God and to remain committed to the teachings and principles of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My faith and compassion drive or guide everything I do. God has given me a heart for reaching out to lost, broken, and wounded women and children, offering them love, support, and hope. To God Be the Glory!
