About Letty

Letty Velez serves as CEO of her consulting firm specializing in debt-free access to capital. As a serial entrepreneur, she founded and operated a bus company in Chicago that generated multi-million dollars in annual revenue and established Walmart's first free shuttle program in the country, building extensive relationships with Sam's and Walmart. After facing challenges securing traditional loans as a Latina business owner, she created her own access to capital program using self-funding and non-traditional sources. Transitioning from managing 45 employees to a solo practice, Velez developed expertise in small business grants following the pandemic and now shares knowledge on resources, AI, and funding strategies through panels such as the state of Illinois Hispanic Summit. She mentors Latina entrepreneurs annually via her I See You Latina cohort and provides guidance to individuals in corporate roles, drawing from her experience in the Black Ambition program.
