About Lexi

Lexi Kurtz is an accomplished land acquisition, real estate, and renovation professional with over eight years of experience across residential real estate, custom home building, and project management. Currently serving in Land Acquisition at D.R. Horton since 2023, she conducts market research and feasibility studies, negotiates purchase agreements, manages due diligence, and builds relationships with landowners, brokers, and stakeholders in Minnesota. She previously served as a Renovation Specialist at a custom builder, where she managed residential renovation projects from concept through completion, overseeing designs, timelines, budgets, contracts, and client relationships, and as a Real Estate Agent, where she guided clients through buying, selling, and land acquisition for custom builds. She also owned and operated a medical spa for nearly six years. She holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Marketing and Human Resources Development from the University of Minnesota, where she was active in relevant student organizations. Her professional journey reflects an entrepreneurial mindset, starting from flipping homes with her husband, obtaining her real estate license, and progressing through roles that built her expertise in the full spectrum of real estate and construction. She is a member of Women in Construction (Wink) and the Sensible Land Use Coalition (SLUC). Notable achievements include ranking as a top agent (#8 in her office after five months), having a home selected for a renovation showcase, and exceeding first-year contract expectations by securing her first contract in seven months.
